 About Kneipp the Company
Since 1891, Kneipp® has been manufacturing contemporary products for health and well-being. Botanical competence and pharmaceutical experience, state of the art production techniques as well as carefully conducted scientific checks answer for its quality which has been proven for generations. Kneipp® is one of the leading providers of effective body care, nutritional supplements and bathing products. We offer the consumer uniquely effective, innovative and natural concepts for health and well-being based on the holistic philosophy of Sebastian Kneipp. The Kneipp® Group is an independent division of the Hartmann Group (100% ownership in April 2008), with 300 employees in Germany and more than 400 worldwide. Kneipp®, a Würzburg based company, has two modern production sites. At the main site in Ochsenfurt-Hohestadt near Würzburg, dragees, lotions and bath oils, one of the mainstays for the Kneipp® product line, are produced. The all important research and development laboratories, quality control and logistics departments are also located here. 
In the spa town of Bad Wörishofen, where Sebastian Kneipp based his activities, tea, bath salts and sparkling bath tablets are produced, and a complex analysis of all raw materials is carried out. The Kneipp® Group has been operating successfully on an international level with its two subsidiaries in the Benelux countries since 1951 and in Switzerland since 1996. It distributes its products through its distribution partners in more than 21 countries. Today, the Kneipp® Group is a modern, globally active company with considerable development potential that continues to heed the important legacy and holistic philosophy of its co-founder.  |
