Kneipp Evening Primrose Collection

The Kneipp Evening Primrose Collection calms very dry, scaly, itchy and irritated skin with the natural acting ingredients of Evening Primrose.  Its smoothing and caring properties work to prevent skin from losing moisture as it regenerates and replenishes skin cells.  The oils prevent dehydration and immediately leave skin feeling comfortable and supple.  The Evening Primrose Collection was designed to replenish and care for extremely sensitive and stressed skin, including neurodermatitis.

The Evening Primrose Collection consists of Moisture Bath, Body Oil, Body Lotion and Body Wash.

All Evening Primrose products are 100% natural, pH-balanced, color and preservative free and dermatologist tested.  The Primrose Oil seeds contain 15 to 20% of fatty oil and have a high amount of unsaturated fatty acids (8% Gamma Linolenic acid).  Gamma Linolenic Acid is a messenger of the hormone prostaglandin E1 that controls reactions of inflammation, pain and itching as well as increases blood circulation.

Evening Primrose Moisture Bath ($19.00, 3.4 fl oz)
Rich in Evening Primrose Oil, the Moisture Bath contains 98% nourishing oils.  Containing natural Gamma Linolenic Acid, the Evening Primrose Moisture Bath calms and protects very dry and irritated skin while bathing by depositing a protective lipid film on the surface of the skin.

How to use:  Draw a very warm tub of water (97°–100°F).  Fill one cap into running water and stir to mix.  Soak for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Caution, tub may be slippery.   Follow with Evening Primrose Body Oil or Evening Primrose Body Lotion.

Evening Primrose Body Oil ($24.00, 3.4 fl oz)
Especially rich in Evening Primrose Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Sunflower Oil and Jojoba Oil, the Evening Primrose Body Oil is especially suited for rough and dry skin.  It also contains Vitamins A & E to protect the skin.  Massaging the body will improve the circulation and improve absorption of these rich fatty acids.

How to use:  Apply a thin layer and gently massage into skin.  For a more intense effect, apply over damp skin.

Evening Primrose Body Lotion ($18.50, 6.8 fl oz)
Helps relieve very dry, irritated and itchy skin.  Rich in Evening Primrose Oil, the formulation absorbs quickly leaving skin feeling soft and supple.

How to use:  Apply as often as needed, gently massage into skin.

Evening Primrose Moisturizing Body Wash ($14.50, 6.8 fl oz)
Particularly suitable for irritated, dry and sensitive skin, the Body Wash is rich in Evening Primrose and Almond Oils.  After using in the shower, skin is left protected.

How to use:  Pour a quarter sized amount into palm of hand and lather into wet skin.  Leave on for a few moments to fully experience the benefits before rinsing.  Follow with Evening Primrose Body Oil or Evening Primrose Body Lotion.

The Kneipp Evening Primrose Collection will be available in October at www.kneippus.com and Nordstrom department stores.  For additional information, contact LaForce + Stevens or visit the Kneipp website.

**With each purchase of the Evening Primrose Body Lotion, Body Wash, Moisture Bath and Body Oil, 4% will be donated to Brest Cancer prevention.**

FAQ

When should I use an Herbal Bath Oil opposed to a Bath Salt?
The Herbal Bath Oils are suitable for all skin types.  Oily skin may find that the Thermal Bath Salts are the best alternative.  A salt is great for active people that need extra minerals as they release a greater amount of sweat.  Salts have minerals like Calcium and Magnesium and are very good for people with certain illnesses that force them to lose the natural salt in their bodies.  Salts are not good for people with very dry skin.  After bathing, replenish skin by massaging the body with a moisturizer or body oil.  This helps the skin to regain its natural ph balance and forms a protective layer.
