Contracts between Sebastian Kneipp and the Würzburg pharmacist Leonhard Oberhäußer enabled the company to be the sole developer, manufacturer, and distributor of pharmaceuetical and personal care products, as well as dietary supplements "under the name and with the image of Mr. Sebastian Kneipp". An exclusive distribution arrangement was made with the "Engel" Pharmacy in Würzburg.

In third generation, pharmacist Senator Luitpold Leusser leeds the company, renamed into Kneipp-Heilmittel-Werk. Distribution channels extend into drugstores and food retailing. New production plant build in Heidingsfeld/Germany. Foundation of Dutch subsidiary.
